Introduction

This blog, "Chapter 10 & 11",  is about sections from Chapter 10, An Age of Democracy and Progress, and Chapter 11, The Age of Imperialism. The Age of Democracy and Progress was a time of political reforms that took place in many industrial countries. Nations started to shift to democratic governments while some stayed the same. The Age of Imperialism was a period during the 19th and 20th centuries where many nations were trying to extend their rule and influence over other nations to gain power. Through reading this blog, one should accomplish a better understanding of the changes during both the Age of Democracy and the Age of Imperialism.
